She can either cope with the pain, quit dancing, or have the bones removed surgically.” Hi, my name is Myah, and that was the day I was diagnosed with Os Trigonum Syndrome in both of my ankles. “Os Trigonum Syndrome” is the presence of an extra bone deep inside the ankle that causes pain when the foot is in the pointed position. I was afraid. The word “surgically” made me shiver. But I knew which choice I was going to make. Dancing is my passion. I could never give it up, no matter the circumstances.
